This evening is a great opportunity to learn about translation “from the inside.” Bill is a highly accomplished practitioner and thoughtful in speaking about the goals of translation. In the manner of “case studies,” Bill will read short sections from books he has translated and talk about specific issues raised in translating these texts. About half the time will be reserved for questions and discussion.
