Jazz Poetry 2005 was highlighted by a 40-minute collaboration between Huang Xiang and Oliver Lake. This collaboration was the inspiration for Jazz Poetry and later went on to New York, where the duo performed at the PEN Cabaret during the 200 World Voices festival.
